Imos - Intelligent Mail Operating System
This allows all functions of the system to be programmed from a touch-screen PC system with no manual adjustment, and no need for tools or costly job-set time. Once a job has been programmed, it can be simply recalled at any time and will adjust itself ready for use. There is no limit to the number of jobs that can be saved or the simplicity or complexity of each.
The flexible reading technology means that virtually all existing systems can be read, and that different jobs can use different parameters.
Once the job is running, a full graphical display of its progress can be seen, along with speed and production data, and any operator assistance message that may be necessary.
When the production is over, the detailed statistics and data-logging facilities enable the operator to report on any aspect of their work, or to ensure that every document has reached its intended destination.
The optional PiCS software can then be used to interrogate this data for more detailed reporting, or to produce re-print files.
